Nike Global Football
We call it soccer. Global Football sounds better. Apart from working on a slew of campaigns over the years, I had a four month contract to help develop a set of visual centers from the ground up internally. Though my time was relatively short, I learned the true nature of iteration. Instead of your standard “three options” per round, we would do fifty. There were no bad ideas, and in that spirit, we found some great ones. I helped create the look/feel of three major launches, created the backbone of a logo that will not be mentioned, and photoshopped cigarettes butts from 100+ images taken over the Christmas holiday worldwide. I also coordinated with color houses and AV vendors to round out the set of global brand deliverables, and generally had a blast learning every step of the way.
